The Baughman’s Bees is a family business based in Christchurch that sells a unique variety of handmade beeswax products with amazing designs including Kiwiana patterns. Some of their most popular items besides their range of food wraps are the very popular cheese bag that fits up to a 1kg block of cheese and a one metre beeswax roll, which can be cut to personal preference.
All their materials are sourced from New Zealand and all packaging is 100% biodegradable.
BBQ Craft hand make their products in a small home workshop in Halswell, generally using recycled timber or in some cases, New Zealand grown timbers.
The most popular item is the BBQ-Easy, a totally different and unique product of which many thousands have been crafted and sold at markets in the last 10 or so years. Simply Gifts is based in Loburn and creates individually poured wood-wick scented soy candles. The candles are presented in glass jars with wooden lids. Wooden wicks last longer and burn for longer with a slight "crackle". Over a hundred fragrances are available to choose from and a candle refill service is offered.
