Marieke Bailey is a Dutch ceramic artist living and working in Aotearoa New Zealand. She has been based in New Zealand since 2014, where she balances her creative practice with raising three children.

Her work is grounded in a love of clay, nature, and making by hand, shaped by both her European background and the landscapes of her adopted home. Drawing inspiration from the natural world around her, Marieke creates ceramic pieces that are thoughtfully handcrafted to be both functional and artistic; designed to be used, cherished and appreciated as a unique work of art.
