Based in Southshore, Ōtautahi, Meg Roulston makes handmade ceramics for gifting and gathering — shaped by life between the estuary and the sea. Her coastal landscape mugs reflect this environment directly, finished in layered glazes developed in her own studio that shift and pool like light on water.
Every piece is made to be used, not just displayed. The kind of thing you reach for every morning, or choose when you want to give something special that will actually last. She is also known for her 3-in-1 garlic and ginger grater — a small, hardworking piece that has found its way into a lot of New Zealand kitchens and doesn't seem to be leaving anytime soon.
