Atelier Royale makes handmade straw sunhats and felt hats. The hats are designed and made in-house by Simone, and our specialty is in sizes ranging from smaller to larger. (54 – 64cm). Some straws are blocked on a vintage French Hat Press, and some straws, plus the felts, are hand-blocked on wooden hat blocks—the old-fashioned way. Atelier Royale sources and utilises high-quality natural materials for its hats. An exclusive range of styles is available to suit everyone, and trim colours to match every outfit. Sustainability is essential, and these hats are made from 95% compostable materials. If you can’t find a hat, it can be made. Atelier Royale offers a full custom bespoke service.
